India knockout out from the Kabaddi Asian Games 2018 by Iran. First time in the history of Asian games that India is out from the Final match of Kabaddi.
For the first ever time in the history of the Asian Games, the Indian Men’s Kabaddi team will not be participating in the Kabaddi finals, let alone win a gold medal.
It was a high voltage clash between India and Iran in which India lost the match by 27 – 18.
India has never thought the 7 times Gold winner team will not reach even in Finals of Asian Games 2018. it was a great victory for Iran.
Now Iran will go against the Republic of Korea in final for the gold on Fri, 24th Aug 2018 at Theatre Garuda in Indonesia.
Women’s Indian Team still have hope as they went into the final on Fri, 24th Aug 2018 against Iran.
In today match India lost on in defense only. Iran has done 5 super tackle in this match. Ajay Thakur and Pradeep Narwal all spend maximum time out of the courts. Ajay Thakur gets injured in one of tackle which can be called technically null point but referral didn’t call that.
India and Iran at the half-time at an equal point of 9 each but second half of the match is completely for the Iran which leads them to win the Trophy.
After the end of this match India at the 10th position in the medal tally with four gold.
