How Tickets Were Sold (For Reference)
Tickets were sold directly by the organisers. The process was:
- Official ticket site: the English-language site at lp-ag.tickets-aichi-nagoya2026.org.
- Free Supporter ID: required before buying, and open to fans worldwide, including overseas residents.
- Search for “Cricket”: filter by sport and pick a date and session at Korogi Athletic Park.
- Choose a session and seat category: cricket days were double-headers, so one ticket often covered both matches in that session.
- Pay: up to 12 tickets per transaction for most sessions.
- E-ticket: a QR code was used for entry on match day.
Japanese-language authorised agencies (Ticket Pia, TBS Tickets and CBC Ticket Center) also sold official tickets.
Asian Games 2026 Cricket Ticket Prices (Archive)
- General admission for most sports, cricket included, started from around ¥1,500 (roughly ₹850 / US$10).
- Zone C seats for most disciplines were priced under about ¥3,500 (roughly ₹2,000 / US$24).
- Premium seats and marquee sessions rose toward ¥30,000 (roughly ₹17,000 / US$200).
Cricket sat at the more affordable end. India and Pakistan matches and the medal-day sessions were the most in demand, and the men’s final (India vs Pakistan) was the one cricket session listed as sold out.
(Prices were approximate and set by the organising committee.)
Ticket Rules That Applied
- Supporter ID required: free registration before any purchase.
- No lottery: general sale was first-come, first-served.
- Purchase limit: up to 12 tickets per account per transaction for most sessions.
- Worldwide sale: no regional restrictions, so overseas fans could buy directly.
- Entry: e-ticket/QR plus valid ID, with venue security rules on match day.
Venue: Korogi Athletic Park, Aichi Prefecture
All cricket was played at Korogi Athletic Park (Kōrogi Sports Park) in Nisshin, Aichi Prefecture. It is a compact ground with limited capacity, which is why the biggest fixtures, above all the India vs Pakistan final, sold out. Spectators reached Nisshin mainly by public transport from Nagoya.
