What’s New in 2026
A few things set this season apart from past years:
- Earliest start ever. The regular season kicks off May 8 — two weeks earlier than before, which means it now overlaps with the tail end of the college season.
- A new opening city. For years, the season launched in Albany, NY, at UAlbany. In 2026, it starts in Salt Lake City at Zions Bank Stadium — the same venue that hosts the semifinals in September.
- An expanded regular season. The tour now runs 13 weekends from May into mid-August, giving fans more games and more host cities than ever.
- Concurrent WLL season. The Women’s Lacrosse League (WLL) runs alongside the PLL for much of the summer, so many weekends feature both.
