Durand Cup 2023 Schedule, Venue, Team & Group

The Durand Cup 2023 is the 132nd edition of the Durand Cup, the oldest football tournament in Asia, and also the second edition since it got recognized by the Asian Football Confederation. The 2023 Durand Cup is hosted by the Durand Football Tournament Society.

As per the organization committee, The number of teams from the previous season has increased. This edition will include 19 Indian clubs and 5 service teams from Bangladesh, Nepal, and India. For the very first time in 27 years, a foreign team will be participating in the tournament.

Bengaluru FC are the defending champions, having defeated Mumbai City FC in the 2022 final.

Bengaluru FC is the defending Champion of the Durand Cup, They have defeated Mumbai City FC. This season’s inaugural match will be played between Mohun Bagan Super Giant and Bangladesh Army FT in Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan Stadium on 03rd August 2023.
