Cricket South Africa T20 League (CSA T20 League) is going to be scheduled from January to February 2023. A total of six teams have been finalized for the inaugural season of the CSA T20 League. All six teams are owned by the Indian Premier League team owners.
Johannesburg-based franchise, Joburg Super Kings is owned by the Chennai Super Kings. Cape Town-based franchise is owned by the Mumbai Indians named MI Cape Town. The teams from Durban, Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth), Paarl and Pretoria are owned by Lucknow Super Giants, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals respectively.

CSA T20 League 2023 Auction
CSA T20 League 2023 will have an auction system in which the team will buy the squad for the next season just like the Indian Premier League. It will second T20 franchise tournament that holds an auction system for player signings.
The six franchises will have a squad of 17 players and will be able to pre-sign up to five players made up of three international players, one Proteas player, and one uncapped South African player prior to the auction
South Africa CSA T20 League venues
The venues for the South Africa CSA T20 League are yet to be officially announced, however, the teams in the competition are likely to the matches in their respective venues.
