Lyca Kovai Kings and Ruby Kanchi Warriors would come face to face each other in the third match of the India Cements TN Premier League T-20 cricket tournament at the Chepauk stadium here tomorrow. Former South African all-rounder Lance Klusenser was the coach of the Kovai outfit, having had stints back home and in Zimbabwe. His inputs on approaching the T20 game could be crucial for the success of the Kings. For the Kanchi team, the State vice-captain B Indrajith would be the man to watch out for along with the talented young M Shahrukh Khan and J Koushik.
On bowling, the focus will be on the young J Kousik, who had made his first-class debut last year, was expected to lead from the front with inputs from team mentor andformer Aussie speedster Brett Lee. Badrinath stressed the importance of staying calm under pressure, which he had learnt from his days with the Chennai Super Kings under M.S. Dhoni’s leadership.
