Initially, it was planned to conduct the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India. Later due to the Covid-19 pandemic it was moved to Australia. Now finally ICC T20 World Cup 2022 is going to conduct in Australia.
Australia is defending champions of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. Seven venues in Australia are selected to host the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. The United Arab Emirates’ first match of the ICC T20 World cup 2022 will be held on 16th October against TBC (qualifier 3) at 7:00 pm (AEDT) in Simonds Stadium, Geelong.
A total of 16 teams are participating in this event in group-wise. India will face the first match against the United Arab Emirates on 23rd October 2022.

The United Arab Emirates will kick off their World Cup 2022 campaign with a match against the Netherlands on 16th October at the Simonds Stadium, Geelong. The match will start at 12 PM in UAE Time.
On 16th October, United Arab Emirates will face Sri Lanka. On 20th October, the Niminia will have the United Arab Emirates. Once the UAE team qualify the first round then they can play with another confirmed team in the super 12 leagues.
All the matches of ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will be played at the Simonds Stadium, Geelong.
The semi-finals will be played at the SCG and Adelaide Oval on 9 and 10 November, respectively. It will be the first time the Adelaide Oval will host a World Cup semi-final.
The MCG will host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 Final, which will be contested under lights on 13 November 2022.
United Arab Emirates, Sri Lanka, Namibia, and the Netherlands will be in the same group. Anyone qualifier of this group will play with the super 12 teams.
