This year 351 players being named in the auction with highest base price is Rs.200 lakhs(In Indian Rupees. With surprise, some name is there who is worth of the highest base player. Here we will list out Top 5 Players With Highest Base Player in #IPL Auctions 2017.

#1 Jason Holder – 150 Lakhs

Jason Omar Holder is leading in the list of highest surprising base player in IPL auctions 2017. This player is current captain of the West Indies Test and One Day International (ODI) team but performance ways this player is not so much achieved in the last year 2016. He did not play a single T20 international game in 2016 despite being included in the world cup winning squad which traveled to India. Even he was a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders squad last time around and played only 4 matches where he had an extremely poor record with the bat and the ball.

#2. Andile Phehlukwayo – 100 Lakhs

This South African youngster Andile base price 100 lakhs with this very little experience on the international stage might be unsold this time. He is all rounder but not proved till now. He has an extremely poor average with the bat in the domestic circuit, as he averages only 9.25 in 21 innings, and a decent bowling average of 29. With an economy rate of 8.04 in T20s

#3. Brad Haddin – 150 Lakhs

Brad Haddin is another player in the list of highest surprising base player in IPL auctions 2017. This 39 years old player has been out of Australia’s squad in all three formats of the game for almost two years now. He has played only one game for the Kolkata Knight Riders back in 2011. 150 lakhs price tag is too more might go unsold this year.

#4. Nathan Lyon – 150 Lakhs

Nathan Lyon played only one T20 international for the Australian cricket team and only 13 ODIs. The price tag for this Australia’s best spinner is high. He did good in Big Bash League for the Sydney Sixers but he is not so much success in India for that he would get paid 1.5 Crore as the base price. Might be he will unsell this year.

#5. Imran Tahir – 50 Lakhs

Don’t be shocked why we have taken Imran name here. He is not due to high base rate but due to too low base rate.  A base price of just 50 lakhs for one of the world’s best spinners in the shortest format of the game seems bizarre for the 27-year-old from Tasmani

Here is the list who may get unsold this year too.
