Tamil Nadu Premier League 2024 is going to start very soon. This season TNPL boards looking to add some fresh talents. TNPL 2024 players’ registration started and below is the player’s eligibility and player registration.
TNPL 2024 Player Eligibility
All players who are registered with the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association or any of its affiliated District Cricket Association and should be eligible to play for Tamil Nadu in BCCI domestic tournaments, as per BCCI eligibility norms will be eligible to play for the Tamil Nadu Premier League.
The list of players who are eligible to participate and are registered with the Association will be made available before the auction to the franchisees.
TNPL 2024 Player Registration
Player registration will be online and a portal for registration will be open for interested players from 1st January 2024 to 20th January 2024.
Any player who is submitting the registration form should also attach such documents to show that he is a registered player of the TNCA or any of its District Cricket Association (TNCA Registration number or a letter from District Cricket Association that the player is registered with their District Association).
The categories of players and reserve price are
Category A – International players who have represented the Senior Indian team – 3 Lakhs
Category B – Rs. 2.00 Lakhs – Players who have played in the First Class matches conducted by BCCI (Multi-day/ OneDay/ T20 format)
Category C – Rs. 1.00 Lakh – Players who have not played for Senior Domestic tournaments conducted by BCCI but have played more than 35 matches in TNPL
Category D – Other Players – Rs. 0.50 Lakhs
For the avoidance of doubt, the TNCA reserves its right to either allow the player or withdraw the player from the Player Auction without assigning any reason thereof.
