After the grand success of the fifth edition of TNPL, Once again they are ready for the sixth season with the same 8 teams. Teams that are participating in TNPL 2021 are Salem Spartans, Chepauk Super Gillies, LYCA Kovai Kings, Siechem Madurai Panthers, RUBY Trichy Warriors, Nellai Royal Kings, Dindigul Dragons, Idream Tiruppur Tamizhans.
The sixth edition of the tournament is set to start in the month of July. A total of 878 players will feature in the draft with each franchise allowed to pick a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 22 players, which must include at least two district players. The order of picks for the draft will begin with the highest bidding franchise Tuti Patriot and end with iDream Karaikudi Kalai, the lowest bidder.
