Rajasthan Royals have revealed their new jersey for IPL 2022. The official social media handle of the franchise shared a glimpse of the jersey on Tuesday, 15th March.
Pink color continues to dominate the jersey of inaugural-season champions with some below shades on the sleeves of the jersey. Horizontal stripes have also been added to the jersey to make it more attractive. Dark blue color has been picked for the sleeves and collar of the jersey. Logos of sponsors have also been placed nicely in the kit. The official social media handle of Rajasthan Royals shared a video unveiling their brand new jersey.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals won the inaugural season of the cash-rich league however, they never managed to be even a runner-up of IPL since then. The performance of RR in the last couple of seasons has been very poor. They will be hoping to be more competitive this season to make the competition more exciting.
Rajasthan Royals have picked a balanced squad for IPL 2022 studded with talented batter, allrounders, and bowlers who have the potential of being competitive throughout the competition. They made some wise retentions like Sanju Samson worth 14 crores, they provided a whopping amount of 10 crores to Jos Buttler ahead of the auction and the left-hander Yashasvi Jaiswal was their final retention worth 4 crores. They have bought some big names like Trent Boult who went under the hammer for 8 crores, Shimron Hetmyer was purchased for 8.5 crores by the franchise, Ravichandran Ashwin was offered 5 crores by Rajasthan Royals, Yuzvendra Chahal was bought for 6.5 crores, and Devdutt Paddikal who was picked for 7.75 crores. This site looks very formidable at least on paper. They have maintained a nice balance in their squad. It will be very exciting to see them perform with a different lineup along with a brand new jersey.
