PUBG: Mobile India Tournament 2019 (PMIT) Registration Open, Know The Details

A successful collaboration of PUBG Mobile with a smartphone company has introduced a brand new and biggest PUBG Tournament in India the PUBG Mobile India Tour 2019.

PUBG Mobile India Tour 2019 is going to be held in four cities i.e. Jaipur, Guwahati, Pune, Vizag. But this doesn’t mean that players from only these four cities can join this tournament. Anyone from India can register in the PUBG Mobile India Tour 2019 tournament. Those who will qualify for the Finals have to select from these 4 cities and have to appear in the LAN Tournament like PMCO 2019.

PUBG Mobile India Official has announced on their Twitter and Instagram handle that the registration will begin from 1st of July. So finally the registration has started for the PMIT 2019. Before looking on how to register in this tournament, remember some key points that are listed below:

  • This tournament is only for squads, so build a squad or join a squad.
  • Using third-party apps will lead to a permanent ban for future tournaments.
  • Any wrong information while registration will lead to disqualification.
  • Emulator players are strictly prohibited.

How To Register in PUBG Mobile India Tour 2019 (PMIT)?

  1. Go to https://www.pubgmobile.in/esports/indiatour2019/#/signUp
  2. Fill your personal details and id proof details in respective fields.
  3. After filling details, click on Register for the India Tour.
  4. A verification mail will be sent to your registered E-Mail ID. Just verify clicking on it.
  5. After Verification, a popup will appear “Activate my account”
  6. Simply click on that and you’re done with the registration process.

Tournament Progression

Phase 1 In-Game Qualifier

Your squad will play 15 classic mode matches. The scores of your squad’s 10 best matches will be considered. Scoring is based on kills and finishing position. How Does Scoring Work?. In a tie, other parameters including survival time and accuracy, among others, will be considered.

500 squads will qualify for the next round.

In-Game Qualifier matches are held over seven days. Make sure your squad plays 15 matches during this period.

Phase 2 Online Playoffs

Squads that make it past the In-Game Qualifiers (500 squads), will now play two rounds.

Round 1: 500 squads will be divided into 25 groups, with 20 squads in each group. Only the top four squads, by score, from each group will move on to Round 2. How Does Scoring Work?

Round 2: 100 squads from Round 1 are divided into five groups, with 20 squads in each group. All five groups will play three matches. Only the top four squads, by score, from each group will move on to the Group Finals. How Does Scoring Work?

Phase 3 Group Finals

The top 20 squads from the Online Playoffs move to the Group Final. These 20 squads will play five matches. Four squads with the highest scores move to the Grand Finals. How Does Scoring Work?

Squads will travel to pre-decided venues to play Group Final matches.

Wild Card Entry into the Grand Finals

The bottom 16 squads from a Group Final match will join the bottom 16 squads from other groups, making a total of 64 squads. These 64 squads will be divided into four groups of 16 squads each. Each group will play five matches. The squad with the highest score from each group will join the Grand Finals. How Does Scoring Work?

Wild Card matches will be played online between October 8-11, 2019.

Phase 4 Grand Finals

The top four squads from each of the four groups (total of 16 squads), plus the four winning squads from the Wild Card matches, will play in the Grand Finals . These 20 squads will play five matches.

All participants of Grand Finals matches will travel to Kolkata. Grand Finals matches will be held on October 20.
