Mzansi Super League is a T20 franchise cricket tournament in South Africa. 2022 edition is the third edition of the Mzansi Super League which will start from the 7th of February to 28th February 2022. Mzansi Super League is based on the Indian Premier League format where all teams play matches against each other. Two new teams were announced to be participating in this season. However, in October 2021, five of the six previous teams were replaced by some of the teams from 2021–22 CSA Provincial T20 Knock-Out, after Cricket South Africa restructured its domestic setup, and is scheduled to be held from 7–28 February 2022.

Mzansi Super League 2022 is the third edition of the Mzansi Super League of South Africa. More than 250 cricketers had registered for the tournament’s draft. The first match of the Mzansi Super League will be played at Johannesburg in between Jozi Stars and Cape Town Blitz. Jozi Stars are the defending champions, having won the inaugural 2018 tournament.
