Indian Premier League 2024 is going to be scheduled for April or May 2024. Before that IPL Auction 2024 will take place in Dubai on 19th December 2024. This time mini Auction will be taken so you have a chance to retain the maximum number of players from the previous season. Most of the teams retained the star players for the upcoming season. IPL GC informed all the franchises that IPL 2024 Trade windows will be open till 26 November 2023.
The trade window also opened on October 26. During the window, teams are free to exchange players, either for other players or for some amount of money which will be added/deducted from the team’s auction budget, as the case may be.
Trading Window Rules:
A player can be traded in IPL in two ways – the Franchise offers to sell the player or the franchise expresses interest in a player from another team.
Negotiations between two teams should only be related to the fee payable to the player.
No trade will be given a go-ahead unless it is approved by the IPL governing council.
If more than one franchise is interested in securing the services of a particular player via trade/transfer, the selling franchise has the power to make the final decision.
The player’s consent has to be obtained before trading or transferring him to the other team.

Deadline
IPL 2024 transfer window will close on November 26 which is also the date for the franchises to submit the list of released and retained players. The teams will be allowed to trade/transfer the players until November 26.

Gujarat Titans’ (GT) captain, Hardik Pandya, is set to move back to his first franchise, Mumbai Indians, following a trade between the two franchises. The all-rounder spent two momentous years with GT, spearheading their campaign with aplomb. In GT’s debut season in 2022, Hardik ensured a fairytale start, with the team lifting the coveted trophy, while they finished runners-up in their second season after a last-ball defeat in a thrilling final earlier this year.
In a separate trade, MI all-rounder Cameron Green has been traded to Royal Challengers Bangalore. Green, who was bought for a whopping ₹17,50,00,000 at the auction last December, featured in 16 matches. The Australian had an impressive start to the IPL, hitting an unbeaten century and two half-centuries while also taking six wickets. Both trades have been carried out as per the existing player fees.
