Four players Sunrisers Hyderabad might retain ahead of the 16th edition of Indian Premier League. IPL 2023 will commence within 10 months from now. Sunrisers Hyderabad, the 2016 IPL champions had a mixed journey in the recently concluded 15th edition of Indian Premier League. But some players performed really well and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) management might retain them ahead of the IPL auction 2023.
Sunrisers Hyderabad played some good cricket in IPL 2022 however, they lost the crucial eliminator match which saw them out of the competition. They had a well balanced team in IPL 2022 but SRH will surely look to retain these players ahead of the IPL auction 2023.

UMRAN MALIK
Umran has been one of the finest bowlers of IPL 15. He has express pace and he has also worked hard on line and leanth. In 14 matches, this young man picked 22 wickets. Although his economy has been a bit on the higher side but he looks a great prospect. He has also been selected for team India so SRH will want him back in their squad.
ABHISHEK SHARMA
Abhishek Sharma batted as an opener for Sunrisers Hyderabad this season and scored 426 runs at an average of around 30 and strike-rate of 133. He played a very crucial role as his opening partner Kane Williamson barely contributed. Abhishek Sharma was on of the top performers for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022 so SRH will surely look to retain him ahead of Indian Premier League auction 2023.
BHUVNESHWAR KUMAR
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been a great bowler for Sunrisers Hyderabad over the years. However, he struggled a bit in IPL 2022 as he only managed to bag 12 scalps in 14 outings but his economy rate is around 7.34 which has been a positive for Bhuvi and SRH in IPL 2022. Bhuvi is regaining his form as he won man of the series against South Africa in the recently concluded five-match T20I series. If he continues to perform like that, SRH will surely retain him before IPL auction 2023.
RAHUL TRIPATHI
Rahul Tripathi had a great season as he piled up 413 runs at an average of 37 and a strike rate of 158 in IPL 2022. He contributed in every win of SRH this season. He was the backbone of his team in IPL 2022. Rahul has also been picked for team India so that should do wonders to his confidence. Sunrisers Hyderabad are expected to retain him ahead of the IPL auction 2023.
