Four players Rajasthan Royals are expected to retain ahead of the 16th edition of Indian Premier League. IPL 2023 will commence within 10 months from now. Rajasthan Royals, the inaugural season champions had a very good journey in the recently concluded 15th edition of Indian Premier League. But some players performed really well and Rajasthan Royals (RR) management might retain them ahead of the IPL auction 2023.
Rajasthan Royals played some very good cricket in IPL 2022 however, they lost the all important final which saw them out of the competition. They had a well balanced team in IPL 2022 but RR will surely look to retain these players ahead of the IPL auction 2023.
SANJU SAMSON

Sanju Samson piled up 458 runs in the recently-concluded Indian Premier League at a good average of 28.62 and at a brilliant strike-rate of 146.79. Sanju led his group to the final of the lucrative league however, they couldn’t lift the trophy. Sanju Samson is expected to continue as the captain of Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2023.
JOS BUTTLER

IPL 15 was a dream season for Jos Buttler. He scored 863 at an average of 57 and a strike rate of 149. He was the orange cap holder of Indian Premier League 2022. Jos played a pivotal role in taking Rajasthan Royals to the finals. His performances in IPL 2022 will force the franchise to retain him ahead of the IPL auction 2023.
YUZVENDRA CHAHAL

The leg spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal won the purple cap in IPL 2022. Yuzi Chahal bagged 27 wickets in IPL 2022 at an average of 19.5. His economy rate was also very good. He also took a hat-trick in IPL and he turned out to be the best bowler of 15th edition of IPL. Rajasthan Royals will surely want him back in the team.
TRENT BOULT

Trent Boult has a knack of picking wickets in the powerplay overs. Overall, Boult took 16 wickets in 16 outings in IPL 2022 for Rajasthan Royals and was also pretty good with his economy rate. Seeing his performances in IPL 2022, Rajasthan Royals would like to retain him ahead of the IPL auction 2023.
