Four players Punjab Kings are expected to retain ahead of the 16th edition of Indian Premier League. IPL 2023 will commence within 10 months from now. Punjab Kings, who have never won an IPL trophy had a mixed journey in the recently concluded 15th edition of Indian Premier League. But some players performed really well and Punjab Kings (PBKS) management might retain them ahead of the IPL auction 2023.
Punjab Kings played some good cricket in IPL 2022 however, they lost they were knocked out in the group stage which saw them out of the competition. They had a well balanced team in IPL 2022 but PBKS will surely look to retain these players ahead of the IPL auction 2023.

Mayank Agarwal has been on of the most consistent batters for Punjab Kings over the years. He was named as the captain of PBKS in IPL 2022 but he struggled with his form as he only managed to score 196 runs in 12 innings. However, franchise will still want him back in their team ahead of the IPL auction 2023.
LIAM LIVINGSTONE
Punjab Kings purchased Liam Livingstone worth a whopping amount of 11.50 crores in the mega IPL auction 2022. He piled up 437 runs at an average of 36.42 and a strike-rate of 182. Seeing his performances in IPL 2022, franchise would love to see him back in their team before IPL auction 2023.
SHIKHAR DHAWAN
Shikhar Dhawan was the most successful and consistent batsman of Punjab Kings in IPL 2022. Despite his opening partner struggling with failures, he kept his form going and became Punjab Kings’ leading run-getter. Franchise will surely retain him ahead of the IPL auction 2023.
ARSHDEEP SINGH
Punjab Kings retained Arshdeep Singh for 4 crores in the mega IPL auction 2022. He bagged 10 scalps in 14 outings. Arshdeep Singh produced some excellent performances at crucial moments. He has also been picked in Indian Team squad for T20I series against Ireland so that should to wonders to his confidence. Franchise will surely want him back before IPL auction 2023.
