On Sunday, March 13, Gujarat Titans revealed their jersey in an event at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.
This will be the grand season of the cash-rich league as 10 teams will battle it out for the title. Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans will be the two new teams participating in the marquee Indian Premier League.
Gujarat Titans showed faith in Hardik Pandya by picking him as their captain. The franchise retained the Indian all-rounder worth a whopping amount of 15 crores. Afghanistan’s spearhead bowler Rashid Khan also made it to the retention list of Gujarat Titans as he was drafted for 15 crores. Finally, young Indian batter Shubhman Gill closed the retention list of Gujarat Titans as he was retained for 8 crores ahead of the IPL auction 2022.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah and former Indian left-arm pacer Ashish Nehra alongside some GT officials were invited in the grand event of jersey launch at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Gujarat Titans have curated a nice and attractive jersey for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. The jersey has a nice catchy and distinctive design with blue colour adding to the beauty. Gujarat Titans are all set to make an impact in the grand 15th edition of IPL 15.

Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans have appointed Hardik Pandya as their skipper so extra responsibilities will be on the shoulders of him. He might be feeling a bit of pressure as he will be leading a franchise first time in the IPL. GT was struck by a pre-tournament blow as Jason Roy withdrew his participating from the league which forced the franchise to pick Rahmanullah Gurbaz as a replacement player.
Gujarat Titans have a nice depth in their squad so they are expected to make a mark in their debut season. Gujarat-based side will begin their IPL 2022 campaign against Lucknow Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 28.
IPL 2022 will get underway with four-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings taking on two-time IPL winners Kolkata Knight Riders on 26th March at Wankhede Stadium.
