1. Virat Kohli

5. Dinesh Karthik
Veteran wicket-keeper batsman will be an important part of the middle order for RCB. He was bought by his franchise for 5.5 crores in the mega auction and he is expected to perform well this season for his team. He represented Kolkata Knight Riders last season scoring 223 runs in 17 games at an average of 22.3.
6. Anuj Rawat
He can be another pick for the middle order. He is very talented and surely deserves a chance of being picked in the starting playing XI for RCB. Franchise bought for 3.4 crores in the mega auction.
7. Wanindu Hasaranga
Hasaranga might be the best spinner of the RCB squad this time around. He has magical numbers in International cricket and is expected to do wonders in the IPL. Franchise bought him for a whopping amount of 10.75 crores in the mega auctions. The leg-spinner played two games in the IPL last year in the UAE leg and unfortunately for him, he remained wicketless.
8. Shahbaz Ahmad
Shahbaz Ahmad and Wanindu Hasaranga might bowl in tandem for RCB at least in their first encounter. Shabaz was picked for 2.4 crores during the mega auction. He picked 7 wickets in 11 games for RCB last year and he can also be useful with the bat.
9. Mohammed Siraj
He will be leading the pace attack for RCB this season. He was retained by his franchise for 7 crores ahead of the mega auction. He presented a good show with the ball last season by picking up 11 wickets in 15 games at an economy rate of 6.78.
10. Harshal Patel
Harshal is the best bowler for RCB at present. He went under the hammer for 10.75 crores in the mega IPL auction 2022. Right-arm pacer was the purple cap holder last season as he performed incredibly well by grabbing 32 wickets in just 15 games.
11. Siddharth Kaul
He is expected to be the third pace option for RCB in their first game of IPL 2022. Franchise picked him for 75 lakhs in the recently concluded mega auction. He represented Sunrisers Hyderabad last season and picked 7 wickets in 8 games. He is expected to make it to the starting playing XI of RCB.
