IPL 2021 Predictions: Predicting The Top-4 teams in the Points Table After The League Stage

The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is going to be scheduled from 09th April 2021 and the final will be on 30th May 2021. Most of the franchising started the preparation for the IPL 2021. In the mini-auction held in the month of January, many franchises have work on team strength and fill the void in the squad. At least the team’s owner has decided to keep the team strength on paper as balanced.

Well, in the end, the winner will be only one, here in this post we will predict the Top-4 teams in the point table at the end of the league stage. This evaluation is based on the IPL 2021 squad of all the team.

#1. Mumbai Indians

The defending IPL champions, Mumbai Indians once again become the most favorite IPL team to win the IPL title contender. This team has won 5 times the IPL title and from last season they have won the trophy. It will be a hat-trick for the Mumbai Indians. Squads for the Mumbai Indians are balanced and have solid back-up players that give strength to the teams in IPL 2021.

Most of the matches of Mumbai Indians will be played at the Chennai and Delhi ground which once again good for Mumbai Indians as Mumbai Indians have Piyush Chawla which is an experienced T20 spinner and he will be very much good at the Delhi ground.

No doubts in this that Mumbai Indians will be surely in the Top 4 teams in the Points table. Check the Mumbai Indians Squad and Schedule for IPL 2021.

#2. Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings finished the last season with 6 wins and 8 losses and failed to qualify for the playoffs for the first time. Looking at this CSK made a big purchase in the mini-auction held in February. Moeen Ali was added to the IPL 2021 CSK Squad. He is a great all-rounder player and can change the game equation at any time. More than this, this time CSK gave more importance to the young and experienced players.

No matches will be conducted in Chennai which will be a major drawback for the CSK, But Captain cool Dhoni will overcome this as he has more experience in playing the matches.

NO doubts in this that Chennai Super Kings will be in the Top-4 and this time he will surely qualify for the Playoff.

#3. Royal Challengers Bangalore

Indian Team captain Virat Kohli is leading the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League 2021. It will great chance for the RCB to finish in the top-4 in the IPL Points Table. On 2 November 2020, they qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2016. However, they lost against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator, finishing the tournament in 4th place.

This season it will great chance for the RCB to lift the trophy. In the 2021 IPL auction, Bangalore made some valuable additions in the form of all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, veteran Dan Christian, and pacer Kyle Jamieson. The inclusion of Maxwell strengthens RCB’s middle-order and will allow the likes of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers to play rather freely.

If Royal Challenges Bangalore fix issues in the Bowling side then surely this team will make big change in the IPL 2021.

#4. Punjab Kings

Punjab Kings is also known as Kings XI Punjab. Last season he missed out on a top-4 spot despite making a sensational comeback in the latter half of the last IPL in 2020.

The opening batting of Punjab Kings is good they always score decent runs but the middle order of Punjab Kings is a big concern for the captain and owners. The middle-order of Punjab Kings failed each time to give the strong finish.

The Punjab-based franchise has added experienced T20 all-rounders such as Moises Henriques and Fabien Allen to fill the void left by Glenn Maxwell and James Neesham. To strengthen the bowling attack led by Chris Jordon, they have added the impressive Jhye Richardson and Australian rookie Riley Meredith. Punjab would hope that all three departments can contribute and help them secure an early lead going into the tournament.

Summary: These are the prediction from isportsleague.com that the top 4 teams will be in the IPL 2021 pint table. It may be a slight change but overall depends upon the playing and predicting squad. If you like this post then please share it on social media.
