IPL 2020 Schedule: BCCI team in UAE to finalize the IPL 2020 schedule***

The Indian Premier League 2020 is moved out of India due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The entire team with the crew have members reached to Dubai to start the fresh IPL 2020 season behind the closed doors. But, BCCI still not released the schedule for the upcoming series. From IPL teams, players, broadcasters, fans – all have one question on their lips when is the IPL 2020 schedule getting released officially? Why the schedules are getting delayed?

In recent interview with sports magazine Brijesh Patel, IPL Governing Council Chairman said that “We know it is getting delayed but teams are taking stock of everything including recee of the venues. Stay assured schedules will be released before the end of this week”.

Currently IPL GC members, Event managers, and TV Broadcasters are in UAE to finalise the schedule and venue for the upcoming series. Not only this IPL GC have to meet with the local bodies to conduct the IPL in smooth ways.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma has dropped a huge hint before the release of big event IPL 2020 about the opening match of IPL 2020. Rohit Sharma in the tweet said “One of the most influential men in the history of Indian cricket. His impact in & around cricket was massive. He was a man with a vision and a master in knowing how to build a team. I Will surely miss him in blue but we have him in yellow. See you on 19th at the toss @msdhoni”

As per last schedule which released in February month, IPL opening match has to be played in between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. Rohit might based on that saying that opening match once again in between these two teams but still venue still not finalised.

IPL 2020 will be a 53 day event and on 10 of the day double headers will be scheduled. On the day when two matches will be played in a day, first game will start at 3.30PM and the second match will be scheduled at 7.30PM.
