The ILT20 Season 4 (2025) Auction took place on 1st October 2025 in Dubai. This first-ever auction in the league’s history featured nearly 300 players from more than 20 countries, bringing together marquee internationals, exciting emerging talents, and regional players. Cricketers from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia were also part of the pool and must be selected through the auction, marking a new era and greater opportunities for regional players alongside UAE cricketers.
We have updated the ILT20 Season 4 (2025) Auction player list, including the retained players and the prices at which they were bought. All teams have finalized their retained squads and are now ready to challenge for the ILT20 title.
Each franchise entered the auction with a purse of USD 800,000, in addition to any remaining balance from the USD 1.2 million initially allocated for direct signings and retentions.
- Dubai Capitals and Gulf Giants held the largest purses at USD 1,035,000 each.
- Sharjah Warriorz followed with USD 1,025,000.
- Abu Dhabi Knight Riders had USD 925,000.
- Desert Vipers carried USD 802,500.
- MI Emirates entered with USD 800,000.
By the end of the auction, each franchise must assemble a squad of 19–21 players, including:
- A minimum of 11 players from Full Member nations
- 4 UAE players, including one U-23 UAE player
- 1 player from Kuwait
- 1 player from Saudi Arabia
- 2 players from other ICC Associate Nations
Franchises are required to spend at least USD 1.5 million and no more than USD 2 million, with the option of signing up to two Wildcard players outside the auction for an additional USD 250,000.
For every match, the playing XI must feature at least two UAE players and one Associate Nation player. This Associate slot may be filled by a third UAE player or by a cricketer from any other Associate nation, including Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
