FC Goa (Football Club Goa) is an Indian football club based in Goa (the only state or union territory to declare football as its official sport), that plays in the Indian Super League. It was established on 26 August 2014 as the team in the Indian Super League. The team is owned by Goan Football Club Pvt. Ltd. which consists of Mr. Jaydev Mody, Mr. Akshay Tandon, and Indian Cricket team captain, Mr. Virat Kohli.
FC Goa is one of the strongest teams in the Indian Super League. Under coach Arthur Antunes Coimbra (Zico), FC Goa became the runners-up in 2015. This team also builds up its team from the core and ground levels.
