East Bengal FC begin the 2026-27 Indian Super League as defending champions, and their home tickets at the Salt Lake Stadium will be among the most sought-after in the country this season. The Red and Gold Brigade’s first home game is against Sporting Club Delhi on Friday, 20 November 2026, at 5:00 PM IST, and nine days later they host Mohun Bagan Super Giant in the Kolkata Derby.
Founded in 1920, East Bengal won their first ISL title in 2025-26, ending a 22-year wait for a national league crown. They also lifted the 2026 Durand Cup this summer. Experienced Spanish coach Antonio López Habas, a three-time ISL champion, is in charge for the title defence.
East Bengal sit out Game Week 1 because of their AFC Champions League Two commitments, so the season starts for them on 18 October in Goa, and all of their first three ISL games are away from home.

Kolkata Derby Tickets: East Bengal vs Mohun Bagan SG
- Date: Sunday, 29 November 2026
- Kick-off: 7:30 PM IST
- Venue: Salt Lake Stadium (VYBK), Kolkata – East Bengal home game
The Kolkata Derby is the biggest club match in Indian football. ISL derby crowds at Salt Lake have gone past 62,000, and tickets are usually gone within hours. Tips for this game:
- Log in to the booking platform before sales open.
- Buy only from East Bengal’s official partner. Fake derby tickets circulate on social media every season.
- Expect a cap on tickets per account.
- Leave very early on matchday, because roads around Salt Lake get blocked hours before kick-off.
Other Key East Bengal Home Games
- vs Punjab FC, 4 Dec (7:30 PM): a Friday night game, just five days after the derby.
- vs NorthEast United, 21 Dec (7:30 PM): the last home game before the year-end break.
- vs FC Goa, 9 Jan 2027 (5:00 PM): a Saturday clash that could shape the top-six race.
