Blind Cricket T20 World Cup 2017 Schedule,Time Table,Teams | Squad | Fixtures | India Blind Cricket Team 2017: The second edition of Blind Cricket T20 World Cup is scheduled to play in 2017 and India will be hosting the event from 31 January. A total of TOP 9 national cricket teams will participate in the Blind Cricket T20 World Cup. Indian Blind cricket team will be title defending champions in the flagship event as they won inaugural event by defeating Pakistan in 2012’s world t20 final.

World Blind Cricket Council (WBCC) organised word cup for the Blind. So far four Blind World Cups have been held, New Delhi, India (1998); Chennai, India (2002) and Islamabad, Pakistan (2006). In 2012, the first Blind World Cup T20 was held in Bangalore, India. Blind cricket relies on common use of the ‘sweep shot’, in order to provide maximum chance of the bat hitting the ball.
Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled & Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI organizes state, zonal, national and international level cricket tournaments for the blind. The state level cricket tournaments are organized to select the best state team to participate in their respective zones (north, east, west and south). Zonal matches are held by Samarthanam and CABI by identifying local partners, including private and government bodies which affiliate with the organizers, lending their support to the tournament. The winners of the zonal matches play league matches to qualify for the finals.
Blind Cricket T20 World Cup 2017 Schedule: The opening match of 2017 blind twenty20 cricket world cup will be played between hosts India and the West Indies on 31st January in Delhi. Semi-Final matches of championship are scheduled to be held on 11 February meanwhile final to take place on 12 February.
