The new recruit Lucknow Super Giants have revealed their brand new jersey for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. Fans were eagerly waiting for the unveiling of the new jersey and LSG has finally raised the curtains. Franchise provided the first glimpse of their new kit on their various social media handles.
Lucknow Super Giants have picked the turquoise blue color for the new kit and the shades of green and orange can also be seen. They have also placed the logos of their sponsors very nicely inside their new jersey and it looks very attractive from the first look. Fans also found this beautiful.

Kl Rahul was a core batter of Punjab Kings over the years however, Lucknow Super Giants picked him and appointed him as their captain ahead of the IPL 2022. The opener has been amongst the runs since the last few years and he will look to continue his form this season as well. As a new franchise, all eyes will be on LSG and they look a very formidable side at least on paper. So in their debut season of the cash-rich league, they will want to make sure that they go to playoffs and maybe beyond. Apart from the skipper Kl Rahul, LSG have picked Marcus Stoinis and Ravi Bishnoi in the draft ahead of the 15th edition of IPL.
The management of the new franchise also did an admirable job during the mega auction by purchasing some brilliant overseas talents like Quinton de Kock, Jason Holder and Ewin Lewis. There is hardly any weakness in the squad of LSG and they are expected to make a huge impact in their debut season. Huge pressure will be on Kl Rahul as he will be leading a new franchise and it will be exciting to see how the team performs.
Meanwhile, IPL is scheduled to commence from 26th March, Saturday with Chennai Super Kings taking on Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Lucknow Super Giants will begin their debut IPL campaign against another new franchise Gujarat Titans on 28th March, Monday at Wankhede Stadium. LSG will look to start their campaign on a high to make an impact first up and gain confidence and momentum through the tournament. It will be a stern test for Kl Rahul as a captain and batter and the whole squad as they will be tested by some brilliant other teams in the competition.
