The inaugural match will be played between Yorkshire Vikings vs Worcestershire Rapids along with one more match on the same day and which is Kent Spitfires vs Somerset CCC.

- 2 points are awarded for each match won
- 1 point per team taking part in any match with no result and any match which is tied (super over not possible or super over also tied)
- 0 points are awarded for any match lost
The top 4 teams from both groups will go to the semifinals of Vitality T20 Blast 2022 where each team will play with each other in a knockout format. This league is widely watched throughout the country.
