The Pro Kabaddi League 2025 Season 12 auction is scheduled to be held on May 31 and June 1 in Mumbai, Before this all 12 teams have announced its list of Elite Retained Players, Retained Young Players, and New Young Players list. In this post, we will see all Pro Kabaddi Leagues’ teams retained and released squads.
Most franchises have held on to their core players, but with the auction just around the corner, teams will be looking to strengthen their squads and scout fresh talent ahead of the new season.
Some of the top players retained include:

In total, 83 players have been retained across three main categories:
- 25 in the Elite Retained Players (ERP)
- 23 in the Retained Young Players (RYP)
- 35 in the New Young Players (NYP)
Over 500 players will be up for grabs in the PKL Season 12 Auction, including star Indian raiders like Pawan Sehrawat, Arjun Deshwal, Ashu Malik, and Devank Dalal, who finished as the top raider of PKL 11.
International kabaddi stars like Fazel Atrachali and Mohammadreza Shadloui, along with seasoned veterans such as Maninder Singh and Pardeep Narwal, will also be in the auction pool.
One of the most talked-about names this year is Naveen Kumar, who will be entering the PKL auction for the very first time. Having scored 1102 Raid Points for Dabang Delhi K.C. across six seasons, he becomes the first-ever player in PKL history to cross 1000 points with a single team before heading to the auction table.
PKL 2025 Auction Player Categories and Base Prices
Players – both Indian and overseas – will be divided into four base price categories:
- Category A: ₹30 Lakh
- Category B: ₹20 Lakh
- Category C: ₹13 Lakh
- Category D: ₹9 Lakh
Within these categories, players will be further split into three roles: Raiders, Defenders, and All-Rounders. Each team will have a total purse of ₹5 Crore to build their squad.
